Hey — I'm Tural, a Data Analyst based in Victoria, BC. I build end-to-end analytics solutions: from data modelling in Snowflake to executive dashboards in Power BI.
My background spans banking, government, enterprise SaaS, and my own business. At the Bank of Azerbaijan I was promoted to Head of Reporting within two years. At Arc'teryx I built Salesforce systems at enterprise scale. I also founded and sold a 10-person business with full ROI in 18 months.
I'm currently focused on AI-augmented analytics. My HR Analytics project was built with Claude AI connected live to Power BI Desktop via VS Code and the MCP server extension — reading the schema, generating DAX, building dim_date, and auto-documenting the model.
